Camper introduces the Karst 2, the evolution of its signature unisex sneaker designed to feel effortless from the very first step. Staying true to the spirit of the original Karst, this new release blends natural, organic lines with advanced technology to deliver everyday performance and modern style.
At its core, the Karst 2 is about comfort. The midsole is crafted with ReXarge foam, a lightweight, responsive material engineered to cushion every stride. Its softness and energy return create a fluid walking experience that lasts all day, reducing impact and elevating movement.
Durability and function are equally central. The sneaker’s outsole, developed with Vibram, incorporates 30% recycled material while enhancing grip and traction on different surfaces. Certified leather uppers add refinement, while carefully placed interior padding provides a snug yet breathable fit.
The debut collection offers versatility through three distinct designs. Two lace-up versions—one in premium leather and another with a technical finish—cater to different lifestyles. For a more playful take, a Mary Jane silhouette with Velcro straps delivers ease and character.
Colorways span from timeless neutrals—black, white, tan, and khaki—to energetic shades of aqua, blue, orange, and neon, reflecting the balance of nature and innovation.
To celebrate the launch, Camper is teaming up with Bar Basta, the restaurant inside Berlin’s Casa Camper Hotel. For the occasion, a special-edition Karst 2 featuring exclusive laces and custom insoles will be released, available only at the Camper Mitte store. The partnership will also be marked with a dinner at Bar Basta on September 16.
Following the debut, the Karst 2 collection will roll out across Camper stores worldwide, selected retailers, and online, making the next step in the Karst story accessible to a global audience.
