The Pharrell Williams x Adidas Adistar Jellyfish has officially landed — and sneakerheads are losing it. Here’s everything you need to know about the multi-hyphenate’s latest drop.
This silhouette first teased the sneaker scene nearly a year ago. But good things come to those who wait, and now, the Adistar Jellyfish is finally here.
Back in July, Pharrell — now the creative director of Louis Vuitton — was spotted leaving Paris’ ultra-exclusive Le Royal Monceau hotel rocking a never-before-seen Adidas sneaker. While collaborations between Pharrell and the Three Stripes brand are nothing new (he’s been working with Adidas since 2014), this one breaks new ground. Unlike his previous spins on classics like the Superstar or NMD, this shoe introduces an entirely fresh silhouette.
The Adistar Jellyfish draws its DNA from the Adistar Cushion, featuring a familiar mesh base and leather overlays. But make no mistake — this isn’t just a rehash. Pharrell pushed the design to the extreme. According to a now-deleted Instagram post from former Adidas design director Zac Andrews (who worked on the project), Pharrell saw the early concepts and told the team to “go way bigger.” And they did.
This new model is chunky, bold, and anything but subtle. It features an exposed, exoskeleton-inspired upper that mimics the structure of a jellyfish, hiking boot-style rope laces, and 3M reflective accents — perfect for standing out, day or night.

The sneaker is making its big debut in a crisp white and orange colour combo. But over the past few months, Pharrell has also teased a handful of alternate colourways: a stealthy silver pair, a standout Brat-green version, and a wild brown-and-yellow edition he wore while closing Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2026 show last month. Whichever colourway you manage to cop, it’ll arrive in an exclusive co-branded shoebox made just for this collab.
If you’re looking to add the Pharrell Williams x Adidas Adistar Jellyfish to your rotation, listen up: the drop is set to hit Adidas, the Confirmed app, and select global stockists — but quantities are expected to be very limited. Retailing at around £250, it’s definitely a premium pick. Still, with hype this strong, don’t be surprised if it sells out instantly.
