Bershka’s BERSHKA MUSIC begins a new chapter with Ela Minus, the Colombian electronic artist and Latin Grammy nominee known for her self-built instruments and minimalist sound.
The collaboration introduces a track titled “TIEMPO DEFINIDO POR LA PRESENCIA DE LUZ.” The song was originally recorded during the making of her latest album, DÍA, but did not appear on the final tracklist. It now arrives as a closing piece that extends the creative world of the record.
Minus first began her career as a drummer in Bogotá before studying at Berklee College of Music. After moving to New York, she spent time performing as a drummer for other artists while also designing synthesizers—an experience that shaped her distinctive approach to electronic production.
For DÍA, she built and used her own instruments, including the Pocket Piano and the Septavox, crafting the album over three years in multiple locations. Singles like “QQQQ,” “IDK,” “UPWARDS,” and “IDOLS” explore themes of pain, resilience, and growth, with “QQQQ” earning a Latin Grammy nomination in 2025.
