Audi has lifted the veil on Concept C, a striking all-electric two-seater that offers a glimpse into the brand’s future design direction. As a study model, Concept C showcases Audi’s vision for simplified forms, precise detailing, and a strong visual identity for its upcoming electric vehicles.
The car’s proportions are defined by a centrally mounted battery, which shifts the cabin toward the rear and lowers the overall stance, emphasizing its sporty character. Its sculptural, monolithic body is interrupted only by a single character line, creating a sense of elegance and purpose. For the first time in an Audi roadster, a two-piece retractable hardtop combines the freedom of a convertible with the seamless continuity of a coupe-like roofline.
At the front, a bold vertical frame anchors the design, drawing inspiration from historic models like the 1936 Auto Union Type C and the third-generation Audi A6. A strong shoulder line runs along the sides, enhancing both visual stability and aerodynamic poise. Audi introduces a new four-element light signature for both headlights and taillights, establishing a design motif that will carry across future models.
Inside, the cabin mirrors the exterior’s clarity. Strong architectural surfaces, anodized aluminum controls with haptic feedback, and a traditional round steering wheel create a tactile, refined environment. The color palette echoes the titanium exterior, while subtle ambient lighting and natural materials reinforce a sense of solidity without clutter. Technology takes a discreet role: a 10.4-inch foldable display appears only when needed, complemented by intuitive haptic controls on the steering wheel and center console.
Concept C is more than a concept—it’s a blueprint for Audi’s electric future. With its emphasis on proportion, simplicity, and integrated technology, the car signals a new era of design that balances sportiness, elegance, and innovation.
