Port Of Call
SPRING/SUMMER 2026 | PARIS

SAGABOI’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, “Port of Call,” was more than a runway presentation — it was a homecoming in motion. The phrase itself carries dual weight: in seafaring, it’s the first stop after setting sail; in Caribbean culture, it’s where you go when something needs to be addressed — a place for truth, reconciliation, and renewal.

The show captured that sentiment perfectly. It didn’t begin with a model but with music — a powerful 15-member steel pan orchestra filling the space with rhythm and memory. The finale echoed that same energy, featuring Grenadian soca artist Mr. Killa and Sagaboi’s creative partner, BLAKGOLD. The beats weren’t just background; they were the heartbeat of the collection. The runway became a stage for ritual — a dance between past and present.

For Creative Director Geoff K. Cooper, Port of Call wasn’t about escape. “It’s not to get away,” he said. “It’s to return home without apology. To carry our style like language, and our culture like compass.” His words set the tone for a collection rooted in belonging.

The garments told the story — every look spoke in its own dialect of Caribbean pride and global sophistication. Tailored silhouettes mingled with relaxed island ease. Patterns, textures, and movement came together like verses in a shared poem. The clothes didn’t just adorn the body; they expressed identity, memory, and rhythm.

Port of Call stood as a reminder that fashion can be both personal and political — a vessel that carries the echoes of home wherever you go. Through its sound, spirit, and storytelling, SAGABOI didn’t just show a collection; it celebrated the act of return — of showing up, seen and unashamed, to the place that made you.
