Y-3 Presents Chapter 1 of Its Spring/Summer 2026 Collection

Y-3 unveils the first chapter of its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, accompanied by a striking lookbook photographed by Oscar Foster Kayne. Continuing the brand’s deep dialogue between adidas’s forward-thinking innovation and Yohji Yamamoto’s unmistakable design ethos, this chapter explores the tension between structure and fluidity—an essential element of the Y-3 universe.

The imagery plays with opposing qualities: softness meets intensity, movement contrasts restraint, and shadow interacts with light. These visual contrasts mirror the collection’s central theme of formal experimentation. Working largely within a monochromatic palette, Y-3 refines silhouette and proportion with a disciplined yet expressive touch.

Outerwear forms a key focal point. Padded bomber jackets are reinterpreted with sculptural volume, juxtaposed against the soft drape of wide, flowing cargo trousers. Throughout the collection, raw and unfinished details are thoughtfully positioned against clean, precision-cut shapes, creating a dynamic interplay between imperfection and control. Select garments incorporate wired Three Stripes, enabling the wearer to bend, twist, and reshape the pieces, giving each look a customizable, kinetic quality.

Footwear takes on an equally experimental approach. The lookbook highlights a diverse offering, including a reimagined Y-3 GSG9 boot adorned with brogue-style detailing—a fusion of utility and refinement. New silhouettes such as the Y-3 STAN LOW PRO debut alongside returning favorites like the Y-3 TOKYO and Y-3 REGU LOW, each rendered in tonal, monochromatic colorways. The Y-3 ADIZERO RC6 bridges performance running aesthetics with contemporary streetwear, reinforcing the brand’s continued exploration of hybrid design.

Chapter 1 of the Spring/Summer 2026 collection reaffirms Y-3’s commitment to pushing boundaries through innovation, craftsmanship, and the artful clash of opposites.
