Ye’s Yeezy.com Returns With New Capsule Collection

Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, has stepped back into the sneaker game with the relaunch of Yeezy.com, headlined by a fresh capsule collection featuring $20 slides. The 48-year-old creative, infamous for stirring controversy as easily as he sells out products, is once again making waves in fashion and music circles.

Earlier this year, Yeezy.com was taken offline after Shopify severed ties with Ye. Now revived, the site offers eight new products, including the rebranded YS-01 slides—formerly Adidas Yeezy slides—now stripped of all logos. The drop also features Yeezy Pods (PD-01)SL-01 slides, high heels, and boots. Given Ye’s unpredictable public image, fans may want to secure their items before another scandal threatens the store’s survival.

Over the past year, Ye has made headlines for more than just his designs. He has provoked outrage by praising Adolf Hitler, calling himself a Nazi, criticizing Lizzo and other plus-size women, feuding with Playboi Carti, expressing jealousy toward Kendrick Lamar, and alternating between clashing with and defending Drake.

On the music front, Ye has maintained an erratic release schedule. In March, he released Bully alongside a short film. In May, he dropped “Alive” with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, a move that reignited tensions with Carti. The track sampled DJ Swamp Izzo’s “Alive,” which Carti had previously used for “Crank” on his Music album. In retaliation, Carti leaked his own version featuring YoungBoy.

Their dispute deepened when Carti sought to feature Ye’s daughter North on a track—a move approved by Kim Kardashian despite earlier objections to Ye involving their daughter in certain collaborations.

Yeezy.com is officially back with a new capsule—how long it lasts is another story.
