Paris Fashion Week is no stranger to immersive brand activations, but ASICS SportStyle and Little Tokyo Table Tennis are offering something refreshingly different. Rather than unveiling their latest collaboration through a traditional showroom format, the pair are transforming Ellia Art Gallery in Le Marais into a three-day table tennis club from 25–27 June.
The activation celebrates the first collaboration between ASICS and the Los Angeles-based collective, centred around a reimagined GEL-RESOLUTION™ 5. Originally developed as a high-performance tennis shoe, the silhouette has been reworked through Little Tokyo Table Tennis’ distinctive lens, blending ASICS’ sporting heritage with the laid-back community spirit that has become synonymous with the collective.
Founded in 2021, Little Tokyo Table Tennis began as a casual weekly gathering in Los Angeles. What started as a simple meet-up has evolved into a thriving cultural community, attracting creatives, athletes and locals alike. The appeal has always extended beyond the game itself, with the club becoming known for fostering genuine connections through sport.
For three days in Paris, that same atmosphere will take centre stage. Visitors are invited to step inside, pick up a paddle and participate in an environment designed around movement, interaction and shared experiences. Rather than focusing on competition, the space reflects the spontaneous energy of LTTT’s regular events, where everyone is welcome regardless of skill level.
The partnership feels like a natural fit. ASICS continues to champion its long-standing philosophy of movement for physical and mental wellbeing, while Little Tokyo Table Tennis has built its reputation on creating inclusive spaces that bring people together through play.
Amid the packed schedules, runway shows and endless presentations that define Paris Fashion Week, ASICS and Little Tokyo Table Tennis are proving that sometimes the most memorable experiences happen away from the catwalk.
